The Chamber Choir of Linköping Cathedral is a mixed choir in Linköping Cathedral, Lutheran Church of Sweden. Former Choirmaster Lennart Ekholm founded the choir in 1977. Since 2016 Choirmaster Marie-Louise Beckman is the conductor of the choir.
The choir consists of about 30 singers, who enjoy musical challenges. High ambitions and a friendly atmosphere characterize the rehearsals which are held on Tuesday evenings.
The repertoire ranges from renaissance- and baroque masters to contemporary composers.
The choir performs regularly at concerts and services in the Cathedral of Linköping. Among the highlights from recent years are Frälsarkransen with lyrics by Bishop Emeritus Martin Lönnebo composed by Cathedral Organist Lars Åberg, Requiem by Brahms , The Creation by Haydn and Mendelssohn’s oratorio Elias.
The choir collaborates regularly with the Chamber Orchestra of Linköping Cathedral and Linköping Baroque.
